The best day.

Nikki & Anthony got married under mountain peaks with the sound of the Cheakamus River in the background. All of their guests spent the weekend with them camping up at Cheekeye Ranch in a mixture of yurts, RV's, tents, and glamping tents from Wild Haven Glamping. Mel (my second shooter) and I went up the night before the wedding to celebrate with Nikki, Anthony, their wedding party, and their families. We spent the night jamming out to karaoke, having campfire chats, and watching the most incredible star show in the sky. If you're thinking about booking a camping venue, I 10000% recommend it. Being able to unwind all together was absolutely invaluable and brought such beautiful energy to their wedding the next day.

From sunrise to stars

In 6 years of shooting weddings- Nikki and Anthony's might be one of my all-time favourites. Everything from the way that Anthony's brother carefully arranged the blankets set up at their ceremony, to the mismatched vintage china, to the wildflower bouquets from Billies House... It was all thought out so well and executed effortlessly. Being there a full day before with all their friends allowed Nikki & Anthony to be all set up and ready to go, so all they had to do on their wedding day was get dressed, get married, and grab a beer!
