Hello friends!

i'm so glad you're here!

I'm Maiya- an adventurous wedding and family photographer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. I document couples and families who love to explore together, chase some sunsets, and laugh until their stomachs hurt!

I want to capture you, just as you are. So that one day, when someone’s looking at a photograph of you, they smile and say “that right there, is exactly what they were like.”

A PLACE FOR EVERYONE

I'm proud to make my business a safe space for everybody. All forms of love are important, and all forms of love deserve to be documented in front of a camera. Everyone is welcome and celebrated in front of my lens, and I am proud to serve the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities 🌈

you, exactly as you are

The first thing you need to know about me is that I will never have you stand stiffly and force a smile at the camera.

I want my sessions to feel like a breath of fresh air- we're going to laugh, dance around, and drink in the views. There will be piggyback rides, soft kisses, and lots of snuggling. I'm here to document you and your love, exactly how it is.

The Giveback Project

I'm so excited to be donating 5% of my session fees every month from family, couple, graduation, and engagement sessions, as a tiny way to give back to my community. Each month (or a couple of months) I will be donating that 5% to a new cause or organization, and I'm so excited to share them all with you guys!
